Animal Food Bowls
Have you ever donated to an Animal shelter?
I have never donated to one! But Saturday will be my first time!
2 other people in my class at school are doing a bake sale and we are taking donations. I also bought 2 dog bowls,a cat bowl,bringing a bag of cat food my cats didn’t like, and I bought a bag of dog food. When I looked on their petfinder page they have alot of pit bulls their! They were all cute!
The bake sale we are doing the money we get from that we are giving to the animal shelter.
I will bring newspaper too! thats a good idea. I never thought of that!
Yup. The administration office where I work gets the local newspapers delivered. They’d read them, leave them in the lobby for a couple of days, then throw them out. Now they send them to me and when I get a big stack I take them to the shelter. They ALWAYS need newspaper!
Sometimes people donate dog food to me because they know I foster for rescue. I can’t always use what they give me and have no way to store it long term, so I take that down to the shelter too.
I always take my dogs to the local shelter for their picture with Santa. All proceeds from that are donated to the shelter.
I keep all the pennies I receive from change in a jar and once a year I roll them up, cash them in for bills, and donate that to the shelter.
